FBLG championship matchup set
In his first season, Travis and his Fightin' Jobus have advanced to the cham
pionship matchup where they will face wily veteran Ray and his Bucs.
Ray won the title in 2017 and has some 2nd- and 3rd-place finishes since.
Jobu took the lead early against Lumber Co Lumber and never let up, and John's guys cooled off considerably after the first round of the playoffs. With Shohei on the IL for at least another week, Travis will be relying on his stable of Brewers (name a Brewer and there's a good chance he's on this team) along with a rotation of Chris Sale, Chase Burns, and a sackful of prayers. Having the best closer in baseball in Mason Miller sure helps too.
The Bucs battled hard against Other Travis and his Urban Achievers, using a strong final weekend to take control. Ray has perhaps the best fantasy outfield ever assembled in our league, featuing Corbin Carroll, PCA, and Jackson Chourio - the latter two putting up over 100 points combined over the past two weeks. The rotation has probably more Pirates than you'd generally want - and way too many Mets to be considered healthy - but a great closer in Jhoan Duran, and some guys on hot streaks. Should be a fantastic matchup!
The rest of us have two weeks left to earn points for the overall standings and to burn all our moves on guys getting a cup of coffee in the big leagues.
