Because of Monaghan's extensive criminal record, these women were unwilling to attend the draft.

Thanks for a fantastic draft! Though we do sorta miss the slower pace / waking Reid up for each pick, there's something nice about being done in 70 minutes.

A couple notes:

-- The first counting games are Tuesday night/Wednesday morning in Korea. If you have Dodgers or Padres on your team, get them in your lineup.

--After that, true Opening Day is a week from Thursday, 3/28. All acquisitions are free until then. We will reset the transaction counter on Opening Day.

--Undrafted players are all on waivers until tomorrow (Tuesday 3/19) morning. You may place a waiver claim before that point to get in line. After that point, they're all claimable. The waiver order is the reverse of the draft order - once you've had a successful waiver claim, you go to the back of the pack.

--Players on your team cannot be placed on the FBLG IL until their big league squads have placed them on the real IL. At that point, they're eligible to be IL'd and replaced on your active FBLG roster.

--Any batter may be in your UTIL spot. If you have a player whose only position eligibility is DH, the UTIL spot is the only place he can play.

--If you drafted a player who is not yet eligible at a position you're expecting him to play, he'll be eligible after appearing for 10 games this season. Pitchers are eligible after making their third start, or fifth relief appearance. (More: https://support.espn.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000093592-Position-Eligibility)

--If you add a player, he is immediately eligible to play, provided MLB games have not begun for the day in question. Once any MLB game (even AL games) has started, new players can't be used until the next day. Keep this in mind for last-minute additions.

--Speaking of: pitching reminders.

1. NO STARTING PITCHERS IN YOUR RELIEF SPOT. Just because ESPN says Michael King or Seth Manaea (not to pick on Jack's team specifically) are relief-eligible, they are NOT eligible in our league. Only pitchers who primarily pitch out of the bullpen may be used in your RP slot.

2. ONLY FOUR STARTING PITCHERS PER WEEK. Once a starting pitcher has pitched in a game week, he may not be replaced until the following week. Only four starters can pitch for your team in a week.

That should be about it. Please send the commishes any questions and we'll answer them when we're good and ready. Looking forward to a great season.

Because we know you've all missed sad Mets fans.

Matt's draft board was a lot better looking than mine and Reids as we spend this spring counting the starts until Henry Davis is eligible as catcher.
