Blog HQ is getting to this report late on a Monday night, so we're splitting this into 2 parts for you. We'll try to wrap up Week 18 in a day or two. But for now, we're going to give you a look at the playoff picture now that we know how the bracket took shape.
1. Tears In Nevin (Rich/Brian, 11-6-1, 3571 points, last week 1) 2. Sunshine Carpet Cleaners (Jack, 9-9, 3394 points, last week 2) 3. Lumber Co Lumber (John, 12-6, 3374.17 points, last week 3) 4. Boogie Oogie Penny Ponies (Matt, 11-7, 3358.67 points, last week 4) 5. The Misfits (Reid, 10-8, 3337.33 points, last week 5) 6. The Rookies (Henry, 8-9-1, 3260.33 points, last week 7) 7. Project Mayhem (Bill, 10-8, 3169.17 points, last week 6) 8. Clemente's Bucs (Ray, 9-9, 3166 points, last week 8) 9. Arbitration Losers (Tim, 5-13, 3084.33 points, last week 9) 10. Jon Voight's Car (Adam, 4-14, 2923.67 points, last week 10)

Lumber Co Lumber locked down the No. 1 playoff seed by ... uh ... we're not actually sure. By being the division winner with the most points? The other division winner was Boogie Oogie Penny Ponies, who had a better record. And records seem to be the deciding factor for the remainder of the teams. We're calling shenanigans by ESPN.
So BOPP is the 2 seed. That leaves Tears In Nevin as the 3 seed, presumably because they had the best record of the non-division winners. The Misfits and Project Mayhem are the 4 and 5 seeds and will face off in the first round. The 6 seed is the Sunshine Carpet Cleaners, which means the top two teams in the rankings will meet in the first round. Way to boot one of the best clubs right off the bat, ESPN. (Exaggerated eye roll.)
The 7 seed is Clemente's Bucs, which gets BOPP to open the playoffs. The 8 seed is The Rookies, who will face LCL.
The "others receiving votes" category belongs to Arbitration Losers and Jon Voight's Car. See the ESPN bracket if our description fell short.
