Week 18: Monday Roundup

This is just a cool photo - I have no real idea who either of these people are.

It's the last week of the regular season! Just like the NBA, we like the playoffs to take up at least a quarter of our season. Playoff teams are set (sorry Tim and Adam, enjoy battling for the 2022 No. 1 draft pick), now it's just a matter of who will face whom in the first round.

STUDS

• Eric Hosmer (JVC) homered, singled, walked, drove in 2 and scored 3 runs.

• Trent Grisham (PM) had a triple, 2 walks, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.

• Joe Musgrove (LCL) struck out 8 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win.

• Boy this sure seems like a lot of Padres in the Studs column, I wonder if they faced the Marl-- (checks). Hey, they did!

DUDS

• Luis Castillo (BOPP) allowed 8 runs and struck out 2 in a 3.1-inning loss.

• Zach Thompson (R) allowed 4 runs in 4 innings, striking out 2 in the loss.
