STUDS

• Ian Anderson (R) struck out 5 in 5.1 innings to beat the Mets, and just after I made fun of him in yesterday's blog, too.

• Yu Darvish (PM) struck out 11 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win, and just after I made fun of him in yesterday's blog, too.

• Jacob deGrom (JVC) stuck around long enough to earn a win, striking out 6 in 5 innings and apparently remaining healthy, and just after I made fun of him in yesterday's blog, too.

• Manny Machado (BOPP) homered, singled twice, stole a base and drove in 3. I didn't make fun of him in yesterday's blog, but come on. It's Manny Machado. I don't have to.

DUDS

• Brett Anderson (BOPP), fresh off the waiver wire, pitched like he wants to go back there, allowing 3 runs and striking out 1 in a 1.1-inning loss.

• Julio Urias (M) struck out 5 and allowed 6 runs in a 4-inning loss.

• Francisco Lindor (JVC) was caught stealing.
