Hello, FBLG owners! If you've been paying attention - and judging by the number of webpage views, you haven't - the commissioners have let the blog get a little dusty over the past few years. Well, we aim to change that this season.

New guy Travis has opted to surrender his first-round pick (Mookie Betts) in exchange for all points scored by Chicago Cubs bullpen catchers.

To be fair, I (Brian) stopped paying attention to baseball in the Covid era, which meant the responsibility fell in Rich's lap. And he's a busy guy! In addition to refereeing and umpiring youth games, being a caretaker for mentally challenged felines, and sending hate mail to Frank McCourt, he allegedly maintains a 9-to-5 job.

Anyway, we're not promising daily wrap-up posts. Hell, we're not even promising week-in-review blogs (known 'round these parts as the Check Swing). It might just be occasional photos with snarky comments at the expense of targets such as Adam Duvall or the Marlins' team doctors. All we're saying is that we'll try to be more active on here.
