Playoffs, Week 2: Friday Roundup

Patrick Wisdom is one of a handful Cubs we can name, and we had no idea who he was when the season started.

STUDS

• Wade Miley (SCC) struck out 5 and got the win in 7 shutout innings.

• Joe Musgrove (LCL) went the distance and fanned 9 without allowing a run. Back in my day, we used to call that a shutout.

• Bryce Harper (CB) homered, doubled, walked twice and drove in 2.

• Patrick Wisdom (JVC) homered twice, drove in 4, walked and scored 3 runs.

• Mike Moustakas (AL) homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in 2.

DUDS

• Dominic Smith (SCC) went 0-fer with an error.

• So did Travis d'Arnaud (JVC).
